Type the way Nepali sounds. Vowels after a consonant become vowel signs automatically.

Numbers become Nepali digits (2082 → २०८२). Put English words in curly braces to keep them as they are: {Facebook}.
Frequently asked questions
How do I type नेपाल?
Type nepaal. Use a double aa for the long आ sound (ा); a single a is the short inherent sound.
Why did two letters join together?
Two consonants in a row form a conjunct, which is how words like नमस्ते (namaste) are written. If you want them separate, add an a between them: pradhaanamantrii → प्रधानमन्त्री.
Why are capital letters different?
Capitals type the retroflex letters: T ट, D ड, N ण, Sh ष. Lowercase gives त, द, न, श.
Can I paste the result into Facebook or Word?
Yes. The output is standard Unicode Nepali, so it works in Facebook, Messenger, Viber, email, Word, and Google Docs without any special font.
