How large numbers are written in Nepal
Nepal uses the South Asian numbering system, so digits are grouped as 1,00,000 rather than 100,000.

How do I write 1,50,000 in words?
1,50,000 is “One Lakh Fifty Thousand” in English and “एक लाख पचास हजार” in Nepali.
How should I write the amount on a cheque?
Write the amount in words starting close to the left edge, and end with “Only” so nothing can be added afterwards, for example “Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only”. Always check your bank’s own guidance.
How are paisa written?
Paisa are written after the rupees, for example Rs 1,250.50 is “Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and Fifty Paisa Only”.
What is the largest amount this converter supports?
